Claim your Presence Record
Claiming is free. It lets you confirm your canonical details, connect your web presence, and display your verification badge. It never changes your score. Scores are computed from observations only.
What claiming does
A claim proves that you control the business behind a Presence Record. Once approved, you can add your website, official profiles, logo, and a short business-provided note. Those fields are labeled separately on the record so visitors and machines can tell the difference between your own details and StreetProof's observation ledger.
What claiming cannot do
Claiming cannot buy rank, edit observations, remove a competitor, or change the Physical Presence Score. The score is calculated from corroborated and verified observations only. That rule is why the badge is worth showing.
How control is checked
Automated verification uses signals such as Google Business Profile control, a registered business phone callback, or an email address on the company's own domain. If those fail, the claim goes to human review. Disputes and privacy requests use the removal and dispute process.
