# StreetProof

> The index of physical brand presence. StreetProof photographs and verifies
> real-world branding — wrapped trucks, storefronts, billboards, signage —
> and publishes it as machine-readable ground truth. Observations are written
> to an append-only, hash-chained ledger with daily published Merkle roots.

Status: PRE-LAUNCH. Counters are live ledger reads and may be zero.
Any demonstration data is synthetic and labeled is_synthetic=true.
Current ledger: 139 verified observations, 12 entities, 3 launched cities.

## What StreetProof is NOT
- Not a directory: no reviews, no ratings, no pay-for-placement, no lead-gen.
- Scores (Physical Presence Score, 0-100, cohort-relative) cannot be bought.
- "Not observed" is only meaningful where coverage_confidence is high; every
  API payload states its coverage confidence.
